HTML Report Formatting

When an agent is partially done with its online search, or when it is done, you can pop-open an HTML report in your browser with the results. The Report Format control panel lets you set up your preferences for the HTML report, including having a report header, include or exclude text and images, select the number of hits per page, total pages for the report, text sizing, and some text highlights. This control panel also provides for setting up agent text captions for the 3D graphical web view display. The 3D display is also a visual overview report on the agent online search results, whereas the HTML report is a list based report with selected images from web pages.

Report Format settings: Click on the –A- icon on the main toolbar. You may want to type in some caption terms and choose a ranking method here. You can also select whether to show images or text in the report and whether to show False pages in the report. A False page is one where none of your keywords in the –ANY of- text entry line have been found on the page.

You can also select here how many hits will be listed per page. This is the set up panel for generating the HTML report that you can open in your browser during the search ‘run’, or after the agent is done.

What is Caption Enable?
The screensaver Setting control panel provides a button to show some general information for each view that is being displayed in screensaver display mode.  Click the box on to see the captions.

How do I set up the Captions for an Agent?

At the bottom of the agent Format control panel you can enter a Title for the agent, and an overall category name for words you typed in each Metric line (A, B, and C).

Metric Sum text entry line is also available if there is another overall category that subsumes the 3 categories, or you can leave it blank.
