HTML Report Hits Extracts can start from any designated point in a web page being searched, or contain full sentence extracts containing target keywords you have chosen. The HTML report hit for any web page will have a clickable link to the webpage, like any search engine, and includes additional statistics for metric keyword counts you have requested. You can instantly re-rank the results of any agent search by using the Report Format settings. You can select here how many hits will be listed per page. This is set up using the Format Report panel. In the Agent Configuration you can check the box Report, and if the result of the Finish Test is TRUE, the HTML Report will open automatically in your browser (in a new window). By setting the URL to point at the HTML report for the Agent project that is on your hard disk, a group of URLs that are discovered on the network by one Agent can now be passed to another Agent by looking at the earlier Agent's Report. To use this feature you must click on Report in the Final Actions section of the Configuration window. By limiting the size of the Report in terms of items per page and number of pages, a limited number of URLs can be passed between agents. By using the metric sorting, a limited set of URLs with high-ranking value for successive agent chaining can be passed. In the Beta version of Surf3D only up to 1000 bytes of text is collected per web page for Reports. For now, if your need more, why not just click on the link for the hit?
