Also puts text flags on web nodes with web page titles HOW TO SET IT UP: Save-As the provided MicrosoftSearchAgent_1.xo to a new name, such as MyMicrosoftSearchAgent_1.xo Type preferred text extract keywords into the Metric channel lines A and B Currently: Metric A=Passport Hailstorm ".NET" release Microsoft Services enable Metric B=resource download paper XML application operating server hub talk XP Messenger client Wizard Metric C=whitepaper standard Hailstorm Passport NET HOW TO USE IT: Open the Agent and run it. After it picks up the top 100 web page extracts (based on current search terms (Passport Hailstorm), then open the Report (opens in your browser). Click on any search hit to go to that page. Or look at any graphic view and point and click on any node or bar, and to go to that web page, click on the 'E' icon or press the space bar on your keyboard and the broswer will open to that page node. HOW TO CUSTOMIZE IT: Start your Web Browser Go to this URL: http://www.microsoft.com Type in any search terms into search window and submit The search results Report are displayed in your browser Go to the Surf3D main Agent window and click the GET-URL button Now click the right pointing triangle on the main Surf3D toolbar to start the agent VARIATIONS TO TRY: Browse the different view buttons #1 through #8 Try different searches with different keywords for text extraction If you want to extract particular sentences from searched pages type %TEXTanywhere in the Metric A and/or B and/or C text entry lines
